At Salah Coach, we respect your privacy. Our app is designed from the ground up to operate as a local-first, privacy-respecting tool for tracking your prayer habits. Here is a summary of how we manage data:
1. Location Data
To calculate accurate prayer times (such as Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha) for your location, Salah Coach requests location permission (When-In-Use). This coordinate data never leaves your device. Calculations are run completely offline on your iPhone or Apple Watch. We do not transmit, track, or share your coordinates.
2. Local Storage & Reminders
All prayer logs, focus stats, custom reminder tones, and configuration preferences are saved directly to your device's secure local storage (using Apple standard containers). Notifications and reminders are scheduled locally via iOS frameworks. They do not rely on remote tracking or ad-targeting systems.
3. iCloud & Backups
If you choose to sync your data to iCloud or generate backups, this data is uploaded to your own personal Apple iCloud container. We do not host databases containing your personal habits or logs. You remain in complete control of your data.
4. Third-Party Services
- RevenueCat: Used securely to process and restore App Store premium purchases. No location or personal prayer logging data is shared with RevenueCat.
- OneSignal: Used solely to deliver optional app updates or announcements. We do not use it to send targeted advertising.

Use of Service
Salah Coach is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the application or its components. The calculation results (prayer times) are based on astronomical algorithms and mathematical models. While we strive to maintain high accuracy, we recommend validating calculation settings against local scheduling guides for your community.
Premium Subscriptions (Auto-Renewable)
Some features within Salah Coach (e.g. detailed PDF reports, calendar sync, advanced reminder styles) require a Premium subscription. Subscriptions are auto-renewable and are processed directly through the Apple App Store.
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Renewal Charge: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the subscription rate.
- Management: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Apple ID Account Settings on your device after purchase.
- Free Trial: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Salah Coach is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. RS Software does not guarantee that the app will operate error-free or that prayer time predictions are guaranteed to match every community consensus. You assume full responsibility for using local fallback settings if calculations differ from your mosque.
